My husband and I, each have a Mary Burnett ancestor. I'll probably find we are related again. We are 9th cousins on another line. If illegal, it is to late now after 48 years. His Mary Burnett was born ca 1765 in Va., died 1785 in S.C. Married ca 1786/87 to Joseph Black born 18 January 1763 in Dauphin Co. Penn. He died 7 Nov. 1843 in Columbus S.C. He and Mary Burnett Black had 9 children all born in Abbiville District S.C. He served as state legislator in Abbiville and in the American Revolution. My Mary Burnett born ca 1720 in N.C. She married Edward Forman born ca 1720 in Virginia. They had 12 children born in N.C. They migrated down to Natchez, MS then into Southwest LA. where their children married. Both died in LA. Would be happy to find anything more on our two Mary Burnetts. Thanks for any help. Dolly & Louis Nicol
