Jacque - I am of French descent but married a Barnett from Wytheville (Wythe County) VA. His father was Daniel Lee Barnett (called Lee) and his mother Lucy Ethel Anderson Barnett. Lee's father was Benjamin Anthony Barnett and his mother Cora Woodward Barnett. These two lived in Marion, VA when I married into the family and spelled their last name Barnette. Lee owned funeral home in Wytheville for many many years.He and Ethel had 5 children. I have not tried to research these Barnetts as yet. Noelie
