I am trying to find out information on Matthew BARNETT of Edgefield, SC. I found an entry in a KY deed that states the following: "July 10, 1829. Andrew Rodes, heir of MATTHEW BARNET of Edgefield, SC to William Rodes of Edgefield, SC, collection of monies coming to him from the estate." My gggg grandfather was the Andrew Rodes (Rhodes) mentioned above. He was living in Whitley Co. KY in 1829. I am trying to find out how Andrew and Matthew are related.
