Just found the home town of my husband's family. Is is Rosscarbery, County Cork. I have found Rosscarbery spelled several different ways, but it's the same town, about 30 miles SW of Cork on highway N71. Any O'BRIEN relatives out there? Or BARNETT or DONOVAN? Known family: Daniel OBRIEN son of John OBRIEN and Margaret DONOVAN b 1839. He came to US in 1890s and we think his wife was dead by then. Wife was Mary Ellen BARNETT. No other information known about her. No dates. Children: Honora b 1861, Margaret b 1864, Daniel Jr b 1868, Nellie, Brenda, Minnie. All of these children came to the US. Don't know about other siblings who stayed in Ireland. Honora married Thomas JAMESON in Boston in 1886 Barbara JAMESON ============================== Search over 600 million names at Ancestry.com! http://www.ancestry.com/search
