I would like to get any information on Barnetts in Greenbrier County, in West Virginia from the 1700's back. I have family stories, but no direct information. The story is from an old Mason County, WV history book my uncle references. In 1797, sixteen Barnett boys and one girl left Greenbrier County and traveled up the old midland trail. Some settled in the Charleston and Coal Mouth (St Albans) areas on their way to Mason County. I would like to get any info from 1790's and back. I look forward to hearing from you all.
