    3. Ah Ha, FAIRVIEW, COOS CO OR. YES you bet there is as I was there in 1985 looking for my Grt Granfa., William Anderson Barnett b in 1853/4 in Farmington , Grayson Co Tx d in Dec 1919 in Fairview but bur in Mrytle Point as I found out in Fairview. when I went there. I talked to the oldest living couple there who wouldn't let me take their picture. They had been to house parties and dances in early 1900's with Wilima's son who died after war at abt 35 and dau lena who died of sleeping sickness when just abt 24. BUT I also have heard and seena address of a FAIRVIEW in either Multomah or Washington Co. near Portland Or ????? The Rarview in Coos Co. is indead abt thw smallest a community can be. I saw one little olf bldg which ahd been a little store and old fashioned gas pumping for ood cars but then new. It had a cornet entrance and on a cornetr. Not far from the old Cem there. I had to walk abck along a fence and all grown up etc. This old couple told me he was bur in Myrtle Point. IRONICALLY, I went there to the City Hall. I asked abt the Cem there. They said just 2 weeks before they had finialy gotten an old safe opened from so many yra before that sat and no one ever got it opened till them,\. GUESS What??? In it was the first book on the Cemetery there. On the first page is where my Grt Grafa. William Anderson Barnett bought a 8 plot cem blk for $5.00, yes only $ 5.00 and I ent there. Grt granpa William and 2nd wife, Sarah Ann Hayes Batrnett were both there. I big oblong Black Onyx Stone bore their names and dates. William had brought it back from Ohio after Sarah had died in 1909 I believe and it is imbeded in a biger concrete stone. Also is bur there dau Lena and a son if I remember corrdtly name of Chester, and also another couple who came from Ohio and are related to William as a either sister or bro, and spouce of his or Sarah's. Name May have been West or Barnett. Would have to check as I also took pictures of them. I can still see that nice beautifull Black Onyx Stone still shinning in the bright warm Sun that day I was there. I also gave the clerk a check for 25.00 to cover her son's work for me to clean up the plotts and cut out a root near by. I also left a note that I was there (but it now has old address on it.) , in the Cem book as they let me attach one to the page which I also got a copy of as William had signed it. My Grt Gran fa and Step grt granmother.. My gran fa John Robert Barentt b 7 oct 1875 in Tx. was but 14 yrs old when he arrived there with his Fa William and family in 1889. John's mother having died when he was very young in 1877 in Tx. John had also witnessed a Bear attack on a young mar man in the wagon train which killed him and left a young wife and baby who were left at Boise Id. Name of FREEMAN. from Ky otr Tn.
