Hi everyone, I'm new to the list and trying to fill out my Barnett tree. So far I have: John BARNETT married Jane SMITH - I don't know what year, but I assume in Aberdeen Scotland. So far I have only found 2 children: John BARNETT c.1835 - Aberdeen, Scotland William BARNETT c.1838 - Aberdeen, Scotland. The two brothers sailed to Victoria, Australia and married two sisters. John BARNETT married Janet HISLOP in Melbourne, Vic 1860. William BARNETT married Mary HISLOP in Melbourne Vic 1863. Janet and her sister, Mary, were born in Glasgow, Scotland. Janet c.1837 - Glasgow Mary c.1842 - Glasgow Their parents were: James HILSOP & Mary McGREGOR. If anyone can add to this, I would love to hear from you. Kind regards, Sherrie Blackman.
