Hi, I saw your ? about Elijah Barnett, I am searching for the Parents of Martha Barnett who married Ashley Aldridge in Fayette Co. or Walker Co. Al. in about the late 1860's or in the 1870's I found a family group in this area in I believe the 1850's census, in Fayette or Walker co. Al. the name for the head of house was Elihue Barnette, I don't recall the wife's name but he had several children and one was a girl named Martha about the right age for my GrandMother, I think his name may have been misspelled and it may have been Elijah , he was stated as being 64 or so in age and born in SC if you think this may have been the one your looking for email me , Marsha
