Son Thomas mar Rachel Adams's, My 4th and 5th Gr Granparents in the Barnett Line. Thomas Barnett b mar before 1774 in NC or York Co SC. Among their Ch were ; A son, Alexander BARNETT, b in 1774 and d 18 May 1851 and are bur. in the York Co S C Bethel Cem as well as hundreds of other descendants of Barnett', Adams,'s, Currence, Patrick, McKenzie, Campbell,Bigger, Watson, Barron, Mc Kee, Mc Carter, Barry, Johnston,, Lovce, Jackson, Mc Cully, Clinton, Flannaga , Wood, Davies, Davis, Mc Ewen, Grier, Marr, Wallcae, Rattaree, Whitesides, Tate, Barron, Steele, Partlow, Ewart. Holbrook, Hall, Flanagan, and many many more names. We now continue with this line Thomas, and Alexander BARNETT. Alexander BARNETT b in 1774, son of Thomas BARNETT, b before 1745, posibly on Cumberland Co Pa, and Martha PATRICK, of York Co SC. Alexander mar to Rachel ADAMS b 12 May 1777 to William and Margaret EWART and Rachel d 6 Dec 1857. They were mar in 1792/3.. Children were as follows; 1.... BARNETT, b abt 1805/6, mar Emily McCully. 7....Martha Patrick BARNETT, b 14 may 1808, mar John CURRENCE. 8....Rachel Eliza BARNETT, b 1809, mar MAJ. ARTHUR A MCKENZIE. 9...ALexander Hamilton BARNETT b 29 Apr 1812, mar to Jane Meek ADAMS. 10..Cynthia Adaline BARNETT, b 19 Mar 1814, d unmar. 19 Oct 1843. 11..Mary Catherine BARNETT b 26 Mar. 1816, d 1 Aug 1892; mar 14 Sep 1858 to Thomas H, Grier, b Meckleburg Co. d before 1870.
