Dear List, While at a flea market in Bowie, TX, I came across some wonderful old photographs of an ASKEW family.  Some of these photos were taken by E. R. Speer, Photographer, Harrison, AR  (Boone Co.).  Others have the name "Shattuck" embossed on the lower left corner of the photo. The pictures have identifying information written on the back of them, with various dates, etc.   They are all postcard size, and if fact, have been made into post cards.  They are in  good condition.  Names included are: (1) Enos ASKEW & family:  Uncle Enos, Bert, Myrtle, Gertie, Emory & Mary.  There is also the name of Bill BARNETT, with a marriage date of April 1, 1934. Bill BARNETT is not in the photos, but his marriage to Gertie Askew is written on the back. Both Bill & Gertie, according to info written on the back, were born in 1889. (2)  Kent ASKEW, s/o Bert Askew & Myrtle Cooper Askew.  This is a toddler-age child, sitting on a chair.  He is wearing a long white christening-type gown. (3)  Bert & Mertle:  this appears to be a wedding picture. (4)  Buddy "Enos" ASKEW, portrait of this older man.
