My Nathan Barnett was born ca 1817 in S.Carolina, married Amanda Francis Johnson 1842 in Forsyth Co. Georgia. Likely candidates for Nathan's father is Thomas or Jonathan Barnett who were in Forsyth in 1840. I would guess Jonathan because Nathan named a son Jonathan and didn't name one Thomas. Nathan and family were on the 1850 census of Forsyth and the 1860 thru 1880 census of Milton Co. Ga. They lived between Ocee and Roswell. Children were: Cynthia E, 1844, Martha A, 1846 married Spencer Burnett, Francis E, 1849, Henry L, 1851, Jonathan 1856, Barnabus J, 1857, Julia 1859, Elizabeth 1862 married Samuel A. Alexander, William H, 1865, Melvina 1867, Early G, 1875. Trying to connect this family with any of the other Barnett's of this area in Georgia. Tom
