Many male descendants of his were named Robert Wesley Barnett. Trying to establish Dudley's relationship to an earlier Samuel Barnett of the Harrodsburg, or Nicholas, Lincoln, Garrard counties of KY. Samuel Barnett is listed along with Dudley Barnett in the old Barnett family Bible found at Burgin, KY. These Barnett men may have descended from John Perry Barnett and Elizabeth Self of Orange Co.
