Yesterday I was told that my Margaret BARNETT, wife of Alexander JOHNSTON was the daughter of Robert BARNETT. I've seen the name Robert BARNETT mentioned many times on this list so I'm hoping someone will have some info on Margaret. I'm assuming that Margaret would have been born in the 1750s or 1760s since her son (my gggg grandfather) Gan JOHNSTON was b in 1781 Mecklenburg Co NC. Any info appreciated!
