In looking through my files I noticed a post made by Brookcat in 1997 regarding the John Barnett/Jeanette Powers line. One of the children is James Barnett, b. 1703 in Londonderry Ireland and m. to Millie Neavell. >From some unknown source I have a James Barnett, son of John Barnett/Powers, baptized 23 May, 1703, as being m. to Jane Johnson. Their children were: Robert, William, Jane, Mary, and Alexander. Broocat's data gives a sone of James as being James, b. 1730 in Amherst Va. and m. to Jane Alexander. While this is not my line, I like to have accurate information in my files. Could someone clear us this conflicting information. It's possible that the James Barnett who m.
