Hello, Looking for BARNETT (and related families) in Georgia. Only town I know, for sure, that they lived in for many years was Temple, Georgia. Some in family might have possibly lived in Macon at some point. Does anyone know what county Temple is in in Georgia? They were related to FIELDER and NICHOLS and BUTLER families. Names to look for were Shedrick/Shadrach/Shadrack, William, John, Earl Marcellus, Thomas Henry, Allie Ann, Alice NICHOLS, Lucinda NICHOLS, Ann FIELDER, and Emily BUTLER. If you have any information in any way, please contact me. Thank you. Sincerely, Bellinda Myrick Barnett

By 1880, the two oldest children have moved out. Does anyone have access to the possible marriage records? 4. Andrew J. Barnett's oldest son is James C. Is he named after Andrew's father? I appologize to everyone. I did not realize the html was on when I sent my mesage. I am resending it the correctly. Also, could someone let me know what county in Kentucky, Saltlick (Salt Lick) is in. I am trying to find information on my daughter-in-law's grandparents, Willis D., b, 1902, Ky., d. 1994, CA; and Elva Roberta Edwards Barnett, dates unknown, d. CA. He left KY during the depression because of a labor dispute. He killed a man in self-defense and left to prev ent a family feud. He went to Washington and then to California and worked in the oil fields in the coalinga area. He added an "e" at the end of Barnett. Other relatives do not use it at all. According to my daughter-in-law, Willis and Elva lived in or around Salt Lick before leaving KY. Their children were: Billie, Harold D., Robert Jean, Betty Louise, Dana Glen, Donald Ray, Gary Scott. Does anyone know anything about the family of Willis or Elva? Any help will be appreciated. -- Alanna Tidwell Rucks
