Here is all I have on them William N. Barnett, born 1871 in Alabama married Rosa Turner 13 July 1891 in Lamar, Johnson County, Arkansas I have the marriage certificate,William was 21years old, Rosa was 17 years old. Son Charles W. was born March 1893 in Arkansas. Rosa died ( my father told me he can remember Charles told him Rosa died ) I found the family in the 1900 census,,, William N. Barnett, new wife Lillie Sutton Charles age 3 and baby Nora age 1. They moved ..... In the 1910 census I found them in Magazine, Logan County, Arkansas. Charles was not listed with the family he would be 13 years old by this time. There were five other kids added Florence M., William I., Allie L., Levena., and Truman was added before 1920. Though I have not seen the 1920, census I have talked to Nora and William. In 1972 they visited with my parents. Well, anyway this is all I have on my Barnett family. The younger William had brothers, Andrew and Robert and also maybe a James and sisters, Ann and Sarah or Mary and Elizabeth. They were listed both ways at times. Robert and 1 sister moved to Tenn.bef. 1790 but William and Andrew moved to Green Co,KY soon after the REv. War as well. I think one sister may have died in Sc. Her husband was a Kennedy. Hello to all, The Barnett source was put together by a women who advertised in the Genealogical Helper ( if my memory serves me correctly ) I subscribed and received 2. November 1988 and February 1989. I learned nothing from this so subscribed to The Barnett news and genealogy, received 1, March 1989. Now Im smarter, I learned. And because Im an incurable pack rat, never throw any thing away just never know when I might need it. We bought our computer in Aug, after several lessons from my computer smart children, I am now able to find my way around. Now I need my magazines!!!! Am posting all of this because what good has it done anyone in the past 10 years just sitting on the bookshelf. really. If any of the people in these books are my ancestors I am not aware of it at this time. Would be nice though!! I know they are your ancestors. It is my intention to put this information on the list as it is in the book, mistakes and all. In the will I posted yesterday Barnett was spelled with one t and two tt's Watt was spelled with one t and two tt's. I noticed this before I posted it, but that's the way it is in the book so that's the way it is. If you have trouble reading this.
