    3. Only three people sent me information to be included on the database for Barnett's born, married and/or death before 1800. If anyone has anything to add please send me your information in an email. For those who sent me information; i will send you an email with the files attached no later than this Friday. I want to give some more people a chance to include their information. I did go ahead and go through a little of my information and added those to the database and I searched a few on line sites and included that information. Thank you all for your help, Please respond, PAT

    1. Next Lotto Drawing - 9/13
    2. Laura
    3. Hello Everyone! 9/9 Lotto news: Laura's Lotto Buddies won $1.00 and will be re-invested. The Mercy Millionaires are dead. =( 9/13 - Wednesday AND 9/16 Saturday: I will be working Mon - Weds of this coming week. I will not be back until Sunday, 9/17, which means I will be collecting monies for BOTH, Weds. & Sat 9/16's drawing on those days. 7-11's lotto promotions: Most of you know about 7-11's current lotto promotion, which is a free game of bowling for every $5.00 or more, tickets you buy. The bowling promotion ends September 16th, but the free bowling tickets are good until 12/31/00. The next promotion, starting September 17th, will be, for every $10.00 worth of tickets, you get one free! I LIKE this one!! Oh thank heaven for 7-11! Lotto Group Names: My group name selection lists for each drawing has been less than abundant. Help me out with this, PLEASE <begging>. Thanks to those who have submitted! I had "not" been saving non-picked names for groups for future drawings, but with the gross lack of enthusiasm for submissions, I will have to begin this practice. Come on! It's fun! Be a joiner! *** Important Request *** My deadline for lucky numbers is being extended. I currently have a tie for both the regular numbers and the mega number. If you have not submitted you lucky numbers, 5 #s between 1-47 & 1 mega number between 1-27, please do so by Tuesday, September 12th. Remember, you DO NOT have to be participating in the current drawings to submit your numbers! Thanks! Laura ===== Greetings From Sunny California! 1. 2 different Barnett Lines ??
    2. Hello Everyone, I've joined your group a few weeks ago but I haven't received any mail from this list yet, so I thought I'd just jump right on in here and see what happens. For now I believe I'm tracing to different Barnett lines, and I'm hoping to make contact with family members of either tree. This will be a very rough looking tree for the time being, but if anyone can connect I'd be willing to share the rest of what little information that I do have. Ella D. BARNETT b. Sept. 1867 married 4 Nov. 1886 to Issac Frank BURTON, b. 7 Mar. 1865 d. 7 Sept. 1939 Calloway County, KY. Ella and Issac had eight children: Maud, Lula, Vernon, Earnest, May, Corbert, Oto, Hafford. Susan C. BARNETT married 12 April 1888 to James Henry BURTON b.6 April 1857 Calloway County, KY. Susan and James had one son that I know of, Alvie Issac and James are brothers, which makes me wonder if Ella and Susan may be sisters. Now for the other portion of my Barnett's :) Mildred Lee Barnett, b. 12 June 1905 Calera, OK d. 13 Apr. 1985 Palm Springs, CA married Finis Ewing Burton, Mildred's father was Abraham Barnett, mother: Mary Gain/Goin. Mildred had two brother's, John and Leon. Abraham Barnett born in OK, was the son of John Wilson Barnett who was married to Indiana D. Cox on the 26th of Dec.1869 Whitfield County, GA Thank you all, for any help or guidance you may be able to give me on my Barnett's. Karen also researching: Cox, Burton, Johns(t)on, Alderson, & Faglie(r)

    1. Re: BARNETT-D Digest V00 #112
    2. My Barnett is a Mary Frances (Barnett) Byrd Born-around 1851 possibly in Tennessee. She married Emery J. Byrd, they were married in Boone County Arkansas December 21, 1870. They are on the 1870 Izard County Arkansas Census. The two of them had 8 children. Emery J. Byrd had one son by another woman before he married Mary Frances (Barnett) Byrd. I think I may have found her family on the 1860 census living in the Blue Bayou Township of Arkansas County in Arkansas, if this is the right family her Father's name was J. W. Barnett, Mother's name was Mary W. Barnett, Brother-Joseph A. Barnett Born in North Carolina, Sister-Ann E. Barnett Born in North Carolina. Any help with this family would be appreciated. Thanks so much! Bren

    1. BARNETT, Thomas F, 1848-1929, Ohio
    2. Dereck Dietz
    3. I am looking for any information concerning a Thomas F BARNETT (August 8, 1848 to March 27, 1929). He first married on October 14, 1869 in Clay Twp., Tuscarawas Co., Ohio to a Julia A WHEELAND (1846-?). He and Julia had 5 and possibly 6 children and appear to have migrated from Tuscarawas County, Ohio (1868) to Stark County, Ohio (1874) and back to Tuscarawas Co., Ohio (1880). He apparently married a second time to a Mary CADNUM. Thomas F BARNETT died in the Medina County Home, Lafayette Twp., Medina Co., Ohio on March 27, 1929. I have had previous information that Thomas F BARNETT's parents were a Benjamin BARNETT and Jane RUEBOTTOM but, from RUEBOTTOM researchers, I found out that the two were married in Iowa so I am beginning to doubt that my Thomas F BARNETT was one of their children. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks very much. Dereck L. Dietz [email protected]

After I have it put together I will send it to the Barnett list as an attachment. I would even take names of those you suspect were born before 1800. Here is the format I hope to use in excel: 1. Full Name 2. Date of birth Place 3. Date of marriage Place 4. Name of Parents if known 5. Name of spouse if known 6. Names of siblings if known 7. Names of children if known My plan is to put it into the database then sort by name and dates so we can find out if some of our ancestors are related and we just don't know it. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Again, I will put this on the Barnett list as an attachment to an email which I will write. Hope this works out!
