Brenda, I have a Thomas Taylor Reeder in my Reeder line. He was born about 1835. I don't believe he ever married, but could your Thomas Taylor Reeder have been related and perhaps named for him. Do you know his parents? Or perhaps my Thomas Taylor Reeder was named for yours, since Thomas was not the name of the father or either of the grandfathers of mine. Also, where were your Reeder lines from? It would be great to make a connection.
