Dear List, I have just joined this list so thought I should post a bit of an introduction. I am researching me family tree, part of which involves the Barnes family. I am particularly interested in finding information out about a James Barnes who married Mary Sherwood sometime before 1865. All I currently know is that James was born in Fareham Hampshire and was a chair maker. Also that the Barnes and Sherwood families are from a Romani/Travelling background.
