I am trying to find my father's line. It may be impossible because he was orphaned at birth and his father never came back. His mother died when he was born. Her name was Rena Grey or Gray. I am not certain of his father's name, but it may be Theodore or John and his grandfather may be John. His name is Earl Barnes. I have found him in the 1920 census, and it lists him as a hired hand for Thomas Yann, in Louisville Ky.. I don't know if they were his adopted parents or not, but I remember him talking about Mrs. Yann's wonderful cooking all the time. Now, that he is gone, I realize how many questions I should have asked him and written them down. He was born in Eustis Florida, but there is no birth certicate for him, or any record of his mother's death. He was orphaned in Louisville, Ky. Thank You, Alta Godwin
