Hello! It's been a while since I posted my line, so here it is again. I am looking for information on a Henry C. Barnes married to Mary Payne living in Van Zandt County Texas on the 1870 and 1880 census. They had 4 children, that I know of. They were William Wylie, James Albert, Victoria, and Laura. I can not find a sign of Henry or Mary after the 1880 census. All of the children with the exception of Laura were in Anderson County, TX on the 1900 census. I think that my Henry may have been the son of Ebenezer Barnes and Elizabeth Idella Hicks. I have been unable to prove that. Ebenezer and his family moved in to Sabine County Texas sometime in the early 1850's. They had a son by the name of Henry C. who was also born in MS in the 1840's. I would really appreciate any information on either of these families. Thanks! Debbie
