Hello, My GG Grandfather had a daughter named Transylvania BARNES. I have tried to find information on this daughter, but have not been able too. This is what I have: 1. 1860 Federal Census Owen co., East Half, Indiana, roll 27, age 3. 2. 1875 Kansas Census Mound Valley Twp., Labette co., pg. 6, age 17, name Trans. 3. 1875 Kansas Census, Labette County, age 17 (note she is on two census for 1875 in Kansas) 4. Civil War Pension Records, Father WC 758-899 Was not listed among living children. May 18, 1898 5. The Topeka Genealogical Society, Early Marriage Records, Labette County Kansas, pg 21 lists a Vannie Barnes marrying a J. J. Richardson. I believe this might be Transylvania.
