BARNES the land on which I now reside containing 275 acres with the 2 lots of wood land I bought, 14 acres in each lot, one adjoins the land of Sarah BURTON & the other the lands of William FINNEY & John PARKS, which is all called my PARKER place, also the lands & marsh I bought of William FINNEY &., but if he dies without a child lawfully begotten, then the lands to my daughters Georgiana S. BARNES, Mary P. BARNES & Ataline E. P. BARNES. To my daughter Leah S. BARNES 170 acres in the woods adjoining John REW, William BUNDICK, William DIX & the heirs of George P. BAGWELL, dec'd & also Negro woman CAROLINE. To daughter Georgiana S. BARNES the land I bought of Charles WEST containing 82 acres & 9 ½ acres called the Nanny SAVAGE place & also the land I bought of Sarah A. CORE on Wallops Road containing 5 0 6 ac! res & also $1,000 & 3 blacks ISAAC, GINNY & MARTHA &.To my daughter Mary P. BARNES the land I lately bought of William B. JACOBS containing 150 acres bounded on the northeast by the land of John SAVAGE & on the southwest by the land of William WHITE, Sr, also the place whereon Moses BAGWELL resides, being the land I bought of George WHITE & also 4 Negroes GRACE, LEVI, ABEL & BOB & an infant child ELIZA. To daughter Ataline E. P. BARNES my land called Archy BARNES place containing 130 acres & also Abbott & half of Graces increase from this time to the time of my death & the other half of the increase to my daughter Mary P. BARNES. To daughter Mary A.. which belonged to her mother. To Susan SATCHELL the house, garden & potato patch on which she now resides during her life & then to my son George P. BARNES. I am to be buried in the same graveyard with my father & the grave shall be made of brick say 2 feet in the ground & 2 feet above it & covered with a marble slab, no dirt to be put on the coffin, the wall of the grave to be solid one from bottom to top & to be from 12 to 18 inches thick & of the best brick & the slab to be a good thick one of marble & my coffin made of solid mahogany.
