In 1850 Thomas Barnes was young and had a family in Cocke/Jefferson County. His Father possibly Samuel. In 1860 census family in Jefferson Co, Tn. with head of household - Savenia Burns 28 Tn. (I think this is a unreadable Barns) Savenia Burns 28 Tn. M Pruett 50 Tn. (first name Martha) T Barnes 8 m Tn. (Thomas) E Barnes 6 f tn. (Elizabeth) D Pruett 17m Tn. M Hewitt 27f Tn. 1870 census Jefferson Co, Tn. Pruett, Martha 60 f Barnes, Delila 11 f --- Elizabeth 14 f --- Thomas 18 m Anyone checking these families? I don't know what happened to the mother & father. And I assume Pruett is the Gr-mother. I know nothing about her either. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it. Shirley
