I have a distant cousin [on another line] who still lives in the same area in Massachusetts where our Immigrant ancestor settled in 1650. This cousin goes back SEVEN times to the Immigrant ancestor. So over a more than three hundred year period, there were numerous cousin [not necessarily first cousin] marriages in my cousin's line. Marilyn Owen
