I was reading a newspaper article the day after Thanksgiving about the movie that saved the film industry the "Great Train Robbery". This movie received its copyright 100 years ago. The opening paragraph of the article says, "One hundred years ago, an actor named Justus D. Barnes fired a gun six times at the camera, and the movies were never the same again." Evidently Justus D. Barnes played one of the outlaws that robbed the train. Anybody have a connection to Justus D. Barnes??? The article says that you can view "The Great Train Robbery" in its entirety (3 parts of 4 minutes each) 12 minutes long at http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/edhtml/gtr.html ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! I Have just been informed that this virus is a hoax and should be IGNORED, the files are required by your computer Sorry Sorry, I have never heard of this one. Ron Gisela
To all my contacts, I have just been advised that a virus has been passed on to me. I have found that virus and deleted it. You must do the same and pass the message onto everybody in your address book. The virus (jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or McAfee. We are told that the virus sits quietly in the computer for 14 days before doing its damage. It is sent automatically by the address book, whether or not you have sent an Email to the recipient. Here is how to check if you have the virus and how to get rid of it. YOU MUST DO THIS, 1.. Go to "start". Choose the "Find" option 2.. In the file folder option type in the name jdbgmgr.exe 3.. Click on "find now" or "search" 4.. The virus has a teddy bear icon next to the name jdbgmgr.exe. DO NOT OPEN IT!!! 5.. Go to "Edit" on the menu bar and choose "select all". This will highlight the offending file without opening it. 6.. Now go to "File" on the menu bar and select "delete". It will then go to the Recycle bin. 7.. IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK SO THAT THEY CAN DELETE IT FROM THIER ADDRESS BOOKS 8.. To do this 9.. Open a new Email message 10.. Click the icon of the Address book next to the "To" 11.. Highlight every name and put in "BCC" which means blind copy 12.. Copy this message and paste it in the Email 13.. Then send it

Folks -- Thomas Hynds, son of William Hynds in the story below, was also the brother of Col. Andrew Hynds who built Elizabethtown, KY and named it for his wife, Elizabeth. The senior Mr. William Hynds was married to Hannah Combs, who after William's gruesome death, married secondly to James Barnes; both James Barnes and Hannah Combs Hynds died in Nelson Co., KY, which is the county where many of the names mentioned below finally resided. William R. Hynds, believed to the son of Col. Andrew Hynds, settled the Colonel's estate. James Barnes and family moved to Barnes Gap, Ray's Hill, in southern Bedford Co. (now Fulton Co.), PA in 1777. This is very near the MD border. They came from MD, originally the Baltimore area. The person living on adjoining land in PA is a Caleb Barnes and wife, Honor Stephens of Baltimore. They moved to PA in 1770. Because of DNA tests, we now know James and Caleb were closely related. James and family move to KY ca. 1787, where James dies in Nelson Co. in 1795. Due to the age of his oldest child and the age of his last wife, James was likely born in the 1720's. James' children are Abel, Mary Bell, Ruth, Samuel, Jemima, Elijah and Archibald. Abel returns to Barnes Gap, PA, marries Mary Poole and has 8 children; 1. Mahala, who marries Adam Zembower 2. Because there are so many BARNES lines, it would be a great help if "queriers" would put LOCATION in the subject line in addition to the family names being researched. It often takes time to figure out whether a query is of possible relevance to my family because the locations are not clear or immediately obvious. Thanks, all! Judy
