Can any of you help this lady? I seem to get all caught up in this research. My mother is 74 nd she is about the last one to be able to tell me anything,and she didn't know her grandparents. I know I know my grandmother Martha [Barlow] Hargis was born July 27, 1900, I have her birth record,parents listed as Samuel Barlow age 56 and mother Sarah Ellen Vanderpool age 34 living in Woodstock Kentucky. (Pulaski Co) I know that this was not the first marriage for either one. Sarah Ellen is buried in Woodstock cementery next to her first husband whose last name was Woodall. My grandmother is buried next to her.I have the funeral book for my grandmothers half brother his name was Mitchell L. Barlow born April 2, 1884 in Woodstock Kentucky. He died Oct. 2,1957 in Somerset City hospital and laid to rest Oct. 5,1957 in Woodstock cementery. In the family record it states Samuel as his father, and just the last name of his mother which was Osburn [Osborn], and listed as siblings were Ophelia, Mandy,Martha [my grandmother] and Earl. I remember my great uncle Earl, he lived in Indiana. I have the funeral card for my grandmothers sister,Ophelia Barlow died Sept.4,1892. I would love to find out more info on this branch of my family tree. Thank you for your time and help.
