Further information, when I asked if she had a price on the sampler, she sent the following: I am a collector of VA samplers and when I first purchased the sampler, I thought it was wrought when Emma lived at Kalorama, in D.C., but later found out it was probably made in PA. I am not a dealer but have spent a reasonable amount working on this sampler. My goal is to place it back in the family at this time.
