    3. DNA results received today from a member of the Israel Barlow Association / Edmund of Malden Massachusetts, is an exact 37-37 match for the Lancashire Barlow family, Thomas and Lucinda Hargis Barlow, and Thomas and Elizabeth Nicholas Barlow families.. So we now officially know that George of Sandwich, Edmund of Malden, and John of Fairfield are all from the same lineage, most probably originating in Lancashire England, as shown in John's family pages, though not proven. Susan Looking for Barlow's, all variants and spellings of the name, including Parler, Barler, Barlage, Barlo, Barlowe, Barloe, etc...from anywhere in the world. http://www.barlowgenealogy.com

    3. Does anyone know if research has been done prior to Edward(1560-1620) of Wilmslow, Cheshire, and Southampton, England (known as the Isle of Wight line)? Was Lundie W. Barlow mistaken when he linked Edward back to "a family seated at Barlow, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Lancashire, from as early as the twelfth century"? I know that two unrelated Barlow families could have been from the same area, but it's possible that Edward was not descended from a Lancashire family. From the DNA charts, it's pretty clear that the Isle of Wight Barlows are not related to the Lancashire Barlows for many, many... generations. Hoping to hear from some of you.
