I am interested in the family of Jonathan Barlow and Nancy Thomas. They came from Lee Co.VA and moved to Claiborne Co.TN I have pictures of the couple. They were my great great great grandparents. I also have pictures of their tombstones.They are buried in the Bunch Town Cem.,near the Clinch River,in Claiborne Co.TN Jonathan was born March 22,1820 and died March 15,1903. Nancy was born May 9,1826 and died April 11,1884. She looks like a Cherokee Indian. Another searcher thinks that Jonathan is the son of Solomon Barlow and Cressie Grasse. The kids of Jonathan & Nancy were: James M. married 1-Mary Mize 2- unk. George Washington married Virginia Bays Louvernia Caroline 'Cal' married Samuel Hurst and Jasper James Newton Cabbage Sarah Frances married Perry Hurst Susan C. married Henry Davidson Mary Elizabeth 'Lizzie' married Archable Green 'A.G.' George Washington Barlow b. abt. 1855-Washington Co.VA married Virginia V.Bays 9-16-1876-Lee Co.VA She was the daughter of J.J. and Mary Bayse Their kids were: Thomas Clark 1878-1956 married Susie Burgan Joel Jackson 1880 (lived 1 yr 11 months) Mary Effie 2-26-1885 (Ocoonita,VA) died 1968,married 1-1-1903 to Robert Hays Ledford (he was b.3-29-1877 Cranks Creek,Harlan Co.KY) Cordelia Cordonia 'Cordie' 1883-1920 married Bradley Stewart 1903 in Green Co.TN Jonathan Henry 1887-1972 married Vergie Troy James Bert 1891-1969 married Margaret Horton Willie 1893 married William Polk Kelly Ruby 1899 married Murphy King (he died 1971-son of Edward Rufus King and Louisa Jane Smith) I have a picture with Ruby Barlow written on back I think it may be this particular Ruby.
