First, I don't know if I have told you that one of our volunteers, Bert Barlow has upgraded his DNA test to the 37 marker, he is from the William and Edith Mathoda Barlow family of Georgia, and now my relative, Wendell Barlow is upgrading so that we can make a comparison. I can't locate John F. Barlow to ask about his upgrading to a 37 marker test, but if any of you Fairfield Ct Barlows would care to pay the , I believe $58 fee, it can be done on that as well. Roseanne, you might consider upgrading your Bunches of Barlows test also. All of these families have matching genetic markers. And I believe, Alan Barlow of Ireland / England. A new test does not have to be done, they can use the existing ones. It takes, I believe 5-8 weeks for results once it is ordered and paid for. I was just directed by one of my kinfolk to an easier to understand explanation of how the DNA works, The Blair DNA Project, http://blairgenealogy.com/dna/dna101.html although I still could not begin to put together a chart such as theirs. If there is anyone from this project that understands, and could make a chart for our volunteers, I am sure they, as well as I would be most appreciative. Probably could be made in Word, or some other software that could be viewed on the website.
