A recent DNA test for a known George of Sandwich relationship, turns out to be a close match to the John Barlow of Fairfield Connecticut, if Edson is absolutely certain in that Samuel Nye Barlow is a descendant of George of Sandwich. Out of a 37 marker test, 35 match to John of Fairfield. Bad news though is that our forum on Barlow Genealogy has been hacked, and the entire database lost. I am working on getting it back up and running, but will have to require users to register to hopefully prevent further hacking.
