Heritage.com missed a page in the census, Adolph Thomae is indexed, but having searched the entire section of that county, do not find him. He is the son of one of my Barlow women. If anyone has Ancestry.com, can you do a look-up for Adolph Thomae or perhaps Thomas, 1910 Jefferson Co Mississippi. He is 13 years of age. The family disappeared, I am hoping his mother is in the household. Thanks. Susan Looking for Barlows, anywhere....anytime, including all variants and spellings of the name, Barlo, Barloe, Barlowe, Parlar, Barler, Barlar, Barlage, etc...
Hi Susan, I find Adolph living in the household of Clem McNair with wife Anna and father Tom. Adolph L? age 13 is not listed as son or stepson, he is listed as a boarder along with another male Thomas, age10 but his name cant be made out. The boys were born in MS, father in Germany and mother in MS. Based on the info in the census it does not appear that the boys are related to the Mc Nairs. It states it is the first marriage for both of them, married 9 years and no children.
