I'm sorry, I do not mean to sound harsh or rude, but some of you are either not completely reading these e-mails, or do not understand, so again, I am going to try to explain: The Barlow mailing list...this email you are receiving now, is from Rootsweb, and James E. "Jim" Barlow is the manager of this group. All subscriptions go through him. I do not receive any of the new subscriptions or email changes that go through this. I, Susan BARLOW Holmes, have the Barlow Clearinghouse / Barlow Genealogy websites. I too, am subscribed to the Barlow mailing list, but have nothing to do with the running of it. I use it as a forum to send new messages to all of you about the website. Therefore, when you change your email on the mailing list, I don't know about it. You will need to contact me also, at my personal address, or via the form on the website to give me your change of address also. Again, Just because you receive this email does not mean that I have your correct address on the website. Please go to the website at: http://www.barlowgenealogy.com/emailcontacts.html Check to see if your address is there, and if it is a good one. If not, then just under the picture of the man on that page , you will see my name "Susan BARLOW Holmes" Click on that name and it will open a form to email me your new address. Put your name and email address on that form and then hit the send button. In a few days, when I have several email addresses to post, I will go in and do those changes. All emails are being encoded in java script so that harvesters cannot get them and send you a bunch of junk mail. Your computer will have to be java enabled to view these addresses. If it is not, you will need to find someone who can help you to get that fixed. A recent update for Microsoft has caused a little pop-up information bar that will tell you some elements of the page you are viewing are being blocked, you will need to choose to allow those contents in order to view the addresses. I know this might be confusing to some of you, but it is necessary if you want to use the Barlow Genealogy website email contact page. Some of the newer pages being put up, will also need java consoled machines to view them. I don't even know what all of that means, I just know that you have to have it.
