Well I keep trying. You never know when someone new will show up and know something. I did find a James Barker in the 1840 and 1830 (I think) census and the information seemed to connect. I was hoping that maybe the birth of Rachael might show up there. That would help a lot. This James was born about 1797 and James Jr. was born about 1821. James Sr. wife was Mary born in New Hampshire. John G. was born 1824 and had a son named James b. around 1850 in Wisconsin. I need to get my notes out. I hate to guess at this stuff.
