Ma = Kate Barker b. ? d. 1935 Barker by marriage to George Barker, who she leaves in 1927. George gets the bodies and buries them in Welch Oklahoma. Herman Barker b. 1894 Aurora MO. d. 1927 suicide after killing a "cop". Lloyd Barker b. 1896 Aurora MO. d. 1949 - was shot by his wife. Arthur "Doc" Barker b. 1899 d. 1939 trying to escape from Alcatraz. Fred Barker b. 1902 d. 1935 in a shoot out that also killed his mother. He was shot 11 times, Mom got hit once in the heart... they say she shot herself, but some think it was a FBI coverup. Their crime spree began about 1910 when they organized some of the inner city youth in Chicago into petty burglary gangs. Kate was just a supporter of her sons, but not a gang leader as protrayed. Although there appear to be some women linked to this family, only one is mentioned as being married and her name is only given as Mrs. Lloyd Barker... I'm sure there is someone out there who knows more than this. Hi Leslie, thanks for the information. is there some way to search George Barkers ancestors. I read some where that Kates name was Danny Arizonia Clark. Is this right.
