I am looking for information on Sterling Barker born in NC in 1811. He married Louann Rotten in 1829 in Washington Co, MO. She was Cherokee Indian. The family is believed to have lived in Crawford Co, MO in 1830 and 1840, Ballard Co, KY in 1850, Parker Co, TX in 1860. Louann died in 1860 and Sterling lived in Hill Co, TX inn 1870 and Cooke Co, TX in 1880. Their children were as follows: Pleasant G born 1834 Lucindy Elizabeth born 1837 Aaron M born 1840 Tenkesean born 1842, may have died young Enoch W born 1843 Nancy Emuline born 1845 William H born 1849 Levi Bird born 1854 Any information on these Barkers will be greatly appreciated.
