Hi, My James E Barker was b. in Beekman or North East NY in 1819. He had a brother George A Barker b. in 1823 in Amenia NY. They both moved to CT . James was married to Harriet Ives around 1840. They lived in Kent. George married Sarah ann Beach in 1841 in Plymouth Ct. I know they had other siblings but who George's obit in 1905 said he still had a brother and a sister living. I have found no records that say who the parents were. George's obit said he was the son of Aaron.If he was Aaron must have gone by another name.Has anyone ever heard of these Barkers? George's daughter was Sabraette married to John Slocum. I'll leave that mystery alone for now. Any help will be appreciated. Diane
