George Robert Barker, 89, El Dorado Springs, MO passed away on Wed. afternoon, March 6, 2002 at Cedar County Memorial Hospital. he was born on May 27, 1912 at Harwood, MO, the son of Roy and Mary Ann Jenkins Barker. he was united in marriage to Ruth P Kramer on Jun 9, 1939, having share 62 blessed years together. To this union on son, George Brent, was born. George served his country during WWII, having enlisted on Nov 23, 1943, in the United States Army. He served in Rhineland and central European areas and was awarded two Bronze stars. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Lester Barker; and his sister Jessie Smith. Services were help on Sat., March 9, 2002 at Hackleman's Chapel with Interment in El Dorado Springs Cem., El Dorado Springs, MO.Get more from the Web.     3. I have been offline for the last year, building a house. This entry caught my eye. I have been looking for the sons of Morris/Maurice Barker. Roy and William. By chance is this Roy related? There was a third son, my grandfather Raymond Barker who lived in Illinois.
