Children were: James SR (1770-73 NC or VA), Ephriam, John, Thomas, Jesse, Agatha, Abigail, Mary, Catherine. Rumor his father may have been a WILLIAM BARKER. Rumor his immigrant ancestor may have been JAMES BARKER from ENGLAND, who settled in Henrico, County VA in 1636. UNKNOWN if this James was really the JOHN BARKER that others have been talking about. Does anyone have a list of the 14 children of JOHN BARKER the son of CHARLES BARKER? Also would like to learn more about the WILLIAM BARKER line that was mentioned. Have not been able to climb the brick wall of Jesse (1755) so decided to start further back and try to come forward to Jesse.
