Where were your Barker's??
I have both Barker's and Macomber's in my tree but it is three generations before a Macomber decendent marries a Barker. If you have a Lucy Macomber that married a Moses Lee I would like some information on that line. Thanks Ron __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! I am searching for information on Joe Barker who married Mary Dearmore. They had one son that I know of whose name was Benjamin Barker. Benjamin married Edith Crabb and then married Martha (Mattie) Elizabeth Rodgers. Does any one have info about any of these names?
Hello all, Do you have a Samuel Barker who was born as above in your tree? Samuel went to Scotland sometime before 1850 when he married Christian/Christina Macfarlan. He worked as a machine engraver at Printfields and later became a Wine and Spirit Merchant in Bonhill. I would love to hear from anyone who might have a connection. Cathy
My great grandfather, James S. Barker, was born about 1812 in Caledonia Co. VT at what was then Goshen Gore. His father's name was also James Barker and his mother was Mary ? - (maybe Gardner) and she was from New Hampshire. Other children (known) were: John G. Barker b. 1824 married Mary B.D. who lived in VT, NY, Canada, Michigan, IA and unknown after that. I heard he went to Missouri. William Barker b. 1827 married Elizabeth ? said to have gone to the Northwest. I was always told these Barker's came from Rhode Island before Vermont but cannot connect them to the Barker's from RI. Anyone know this family? Any suggestions? Coral Barker Allbee from California
Seeking information on a Robert Van Trump F. Barker born 12-18-1899 Kansas City, MO, Jackson County. Robert was reportedly in Federal Prison some time in the 1940 in the State of New York;
I am interested in making contact with anyone who has traced their Barker family to Birmingham and Staffordshire in the UK. The time period is the 1700 and 1800's. Clive Barker
This Barker family lived in Edgefield District SC in 1790 and sometime in early 1800's moved to Pickens District SC (the part which became Oconee County). Martha Barker was born about 1820 either in Edgefield or Pickens District SC. She married Daniel Hughes and in the 1860 census of Pickens District SC had three children (Jasper, Margaret, and James) Daniel and Martha became guardians of her sister Elizabeth's three children Mary, Joseph, and John Mulkey in 1876. Looking for the birth place and parents for HIRAM BARKER who died April 19, 1849, Pittston, Kennebec County, Maine. He married Phebe Pearl OAKLEY, November 27, 1833 in Willington, Tolland County, Connecticut. She was born in Connecticut, September 15, 1815 and died in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1894. They lived in Pittston, Maine and 8 children were born before he died. According to censuses Hiram Barker was born in Maine. From some family documents I suspect it may have been either Bath or Dresden, Maine or someplace in that area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
