There is a book at the Rowan County Library in Salisbury, North Carolina which may be very helpful to some of you. We have tried to obtain a copy from the author, but he tells us it is out of print and that no further copies are available. It was written by Mr. George Hahn, P. O. Box 128, Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124, and is titled "Barrier, Berger, Barger Families: Some of Their Relatives and Related Places and Events of Their Times." If any of you know how we can obtain a copy, would you please let us know? We would like to have a reference copy to make available to all Barger family researchers.
