He was born about 1823 and died on 1 Oct. 1885 in Wilson County, NC. He had a twin brother, Andrew Jackson Barefoot, who died on 17 Sept 1873 in Wilson County. I believe Rufus Bunyan Barefoot (1818-1870)was his older brother. Rufus named Margaret Barefoot as his mother (father not named) on his marriage license with Delpha Batts in 1868(his 2nd marriage). Other possible brothers are Guilford (1817- ), Farmer (1822-1862), and Dempsey (1833- ). I don't know at this time Margaret Barefoot's husband. I've documented George W.
