My ggg-grandmother was Delia----. She was Cherokee indian and was born in MO. She married Ezra Helfer. We don't know her maiden name but in 1870 she has left AR. with my g-grandmother and her sister and moved to TX. She lived on land that belonged to Johnathan Barefoot in Texas and in 1880 my g-grandmother and her first husband were also living on his land. I noticed in one of your replies it lists the children, one as being John and another as Delilah. I know some of the Barefoots lived in Independence Co. AR where she lived in 1850 and wondered if they could have been family. Just a wild shot but we are desperately seeking her maiden name. She was born about 1825.
