I am trying to find out info. on a Margaret Barefoot who married a Robert Adair, in Antrim ,Ireland around Ballymena on Sept.15.1826. I have ancestors who came to Canada in 1873 and my gr.grandfather Adair's mother is listed as Bearsford, but believe it may be Barefoot,. Gr. grandpa nad his father were both named Robert. I think that the census takers may have spelled her surname wrong. Am interested in any research you have discovered on the Barefoot family.
