GW Barefoot was born in Wayne Co NC in 1823. His brother was Andrew Jackson Barefoot. The info I have is that his father was a John Barefoot, who was the son of Jeptha Barefoot of Edgecomb Co NC. John may have moved to Monroe Co ALA by 1830. I was told 1830 census records of 1830 show him living with a William Powell family. Any info would be appreciated.
