I hit the send button too soon on that last email. My name is Jack McGehee. My gr grandfather was James McGehee who married Carintha A Elder in Grayson County in 1866. Carintha's father, John Lee Elder was from NC and Ga. He first married Sarah Ammons, then he married a woman named Cathrine, and then finally he married Sarah Saunders. She was the widow of Ferdinand Tilman Saunders. She was Sarah Barefoot before she married the Saunders. Im wondering if there was another connection between the McGehees and the Barefoot family thought? Jack
