I seen alot from NC. my grandfather was Samuel Shealy his mother was Love Barefoot, I have only found info on a Lovie Barefoot . She had two brothers Grady Barefoot, and Thomas Barefoot. My father knows that his GGGrandfather was George Washington Barefoot. He was an Indian chief for the Cherokee Indians I think if anyone has info on this line of the Barefoot's please e-mail me. Where did you find Lovie? I haven't found any sign of her yet in a census record. I think this might be your family line.
