Dear Jerry, I also am a Northern Barber and have been hoping to find others. For quit a few months I have been reading this list to only find Southern families listed. Have you anything on Aaron BARBOUR/BARBER, he went by OUR but his daughter Sarah Cordelia went by BARBER. What I have is little: 1. Aaron Barbour/Barber born in Holland (so says a book written on Clay Co, Indiana and it's pioneer families). Aaron landed in New York then moved to Rutland, Vermont, there he died while in the Greene Mountains. 2. Aaron Gleason BARBER b.abt 9 May 1802 in Rutland, Vermont, md. 13 Oct 1834 Miami Co, Ohio d. July 1883 Salin, Indiana. 3. Sarah Cordelia BARBER b. 1 Jul 1831 Miami Co, Ohio md. Henry LONG 23 Dec. 1849 Miami Co, Ohio d. 15 Dec 1891 Clay Co, Indiana 4. John Calvin LONG b. 12 Sep 1862 Perry Twp. Clay Co, Indiana, md 8 Mar 1892, Clay Co, Ind. d. 27 Feb 1949 Brazil, Clay Co, Ind. (THIS is my Grandfather. 5. Chester C. LONG still living presuming he won't talk to me because of the divorce between he and my mother. 91 years old. I am finally getting a break on my LONG's would love one on the BARBER's.
