    1. [BARBER-L] William BarberS of GA 1820
    2. Starr81
    3. I need help sorting the two William Barbers in adjoining counties? The William Barber on the Oglethorpe Co. GA 1820 census is the right age, and in the right county, to be the son of George Jr., son of George Sr. of Craig's Creek, VA. He doesn't have anyone in his household that fits the description of the William Barber I'm looking for. The William Barber in Clarke Co. GA 1820 is too young to be the son of George Barber Jr., but his household does include persons who could be the family of my Ezekiel GRIFFIN who m. Polly BARBER in 1816 in Oglethorpe Co. GA. Additionally, they do have a son who says he was born in Clarke in 1821, while their oldest son was born in Oglethorpe Co. in 1819. So this William Barber is the one I'm seeking. Can anyone place him into a family group? He was born between 1775-1794 and died in Henry Co. GA 1828.
